Duke and Diesel's ideal home

Cocker Spaniel Duke (10) and Sprocker brother Diesel (6) are on the search for their joint forever home. They are searching for a quieter household where they can settle back into home life. Diesel would like an understanding family who will give him the time to come out of his shell. They would love to get stuck into brain games and going on adventurous walks. They would like a quiet garden that they can enjoy with their family- this could be private or communal. They can live with teenagers in the home who will give them space when needed. They could live with another dog, cats (pending a scent swap) and other animals in the home. They both have medical considerations which will be discussed with our vet team upon a booking.

Duke and Diesel are a wonderful bonded pair who absolutely adore spending time with each other. While Duke is happy to say hello to anyone and everyone, Diesel needs a bit of time to warm up to new people. Duke will never fail to put a smile on your face with the most enthusiastic bum wiggles you’ll ever see. Diesel adores chasing after tennis balls and going on long adventurous walks with his favourite people. They will make a wonderful addition to their forever home.

Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cocker Spaniel Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images
