About This Dog

Mabel's ideal home

Meet Mabel, our sweet and affectionate 3 year old Cocker Spaniel! Mabel loves to say hi to everyone she meets and easily melts everyone's hearts with her beautiful face! Mabel is noise sensitive and can be vocal when she hears unusual and loud noises, so would prefer to live in a quiet home, out of the city and away from busy roads. She must have a garden to chill out in too. Mabel is a typical Cocker and loves to use her brain, always up for learning new things and going on plenty of sniffy adventures. She does get a bit worried by new, noisy environments so would prefer quieter adventures in nature. Mabel could potentially live with a calm and polite dog, pending a successful meet at the centre. She can be a little vocal when left alone initially, but soon settles down with something to do, so could be left for 4-6 hours once settled in her new home. Because of her sensitive side, she would prefer a home where everyone is over the age of 16, so that she can feel safe and secure in her new environment.

Could you be Mabel's perfect match?

Mabel is a sweet, sensitive soul who is searching for a patient family to show her the wonders of life! She can be worried by handling, such as putting a harness on, so will need her new people to take things slowly and train her with positive reinforcement methods only. She utterly loves her toys and can quite excited when playing, making her a little vocal as she requests more playtime and fun! She's a clever girl and currently learning to settle down quietly on her mat and would love her new owners to keep up with her training. Mabel is a sweet girl who will make a great addition to a family with time and patience to learn Mabel's personality and bring out the best in her!
