Burt is a handsome six-year-old Cocker Spaniel looking for a loving home. He has good history with and could share his home with primary school aged children and a dog savvy cat. Burt could potentially live with another dog in the home. He has been okay around horses, and has no history around small furries, he is excited by birds. He is housetrained and travels well in the car. He is okay to be left alone at home for a few hours at a time with enrichment after his exercise needs have been met. Burt is instantly friendly with new people and could cope with a busy home environment.

Burt is a well-rounded chap who would make a lovely companion for an active person or family. Love long walks? Well, so does Burt. He enjoys exploring new places, woodlands, beaches, moors and anywhere he can put that busy nose into sniffing action. Burt walks nicely on his lead and takes meeting and greeting strangers and other dogs in his stride. He loves to have a game of fetch and carry around a toy in his mouth. Burt would enjoy brain games enrichment to keep his clever mind sharp. He would benefit from engaging in tricks for treats, puzzles, and scent games. He already knows a sit and come. Burt in a home environment is affectionate and loving. He leans into you for a fuss and a snuggle. He settles and sleeps well.
