About This Dog for Adoption

Luna's ideal home

Luna is a 2 year old Cocker Spaniel looking to become part of a fairly active family that can give her the physical and mental exercise she needs. She has been underconfident around other dogs and so would be best suited as the only dog in the home and would benefit from further socialisation with calm dogs on walks to help build her confidence. Luna has a high prey drive towards wildlife so would not be suitable to live with cats or small furries. Luna has lived with children before and could join a home with children of older primary school age (eg 8years +) who can appreciate she may need her own space at times. She would like a garden to help her settle into the home and provide space for exercise and play. Once settled, Luna could be built up to being left for short periods of time.

Could you be Luna's perfect match?

Luna is a sweet girl who came into our care due to a change in her owners circumstances. She has been friendly with everyone she has met at the centre and is keen to say hello to new people but can be a little worried by handling initially and sometimes puts herself in situations she is not fully comfortable with. It is best to let her come to you in her own time and for fuss to be kept short initially so she has the option to move away if she wishes. Luna is a clever girls and loves to learn new things for a tasty reward, she travels well in the car and would love to go on lots of adventures with her new family.
