About This Dog for Adoption

Lula's ideal home

Beautiful and happy girl Lula is a 7 year old Cocker Spaniel who is full of life and energy. She gives everything 110% and loves a good sniff and explore on her walking adventures, she likes to bound around after balls and teddies that are thrown for her and will happily play alone if there is no one around to play. She adores a cuddle and will climb into your lap for ultimate snuggle time, once she has had enough fusses she will wander off to her bed. This fun, loving soul is looking for a loving new family to call her own.

Could you be Lula's perfect match?

Lula is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a friendly bean who can live with older primary school children who will let her approach on her terms, who can play with her nicely and will give her space to rest when needed. Lula could live with a confident dog who will happily co-exist and engage in occasional play, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, she would love to have polite and friendly walking buddies. Lula has some training under her belt, she knows her name and does a lovely “sit” and “stay”, she is a clever bean and can be enticed to engage in training in short, sweet sessions if a tasty treat is on offer. She is looking for a home with a private, secure garden for her to potter about in, but this is not a necessity. Lula can settle nicely in the home, so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this should be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Lula takes daily medication and will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
