About This Dog for Adoption

Fig's ideal home

Fig is a beautiful 3 year old Spaniel looking for her furever home in time for Christmas. She is a sweet girl with a nervous nature who can find the world a scary place and would like a patient and understanding family to help her build her confidence. Fig is underconfident around other dogs and so would be best suited to being the only dog in the home and to continue socialisation outside of the home to build confidence. Fig is a friendly girl but due to her nervous nature would be best suited to a home where any children are of Secondary School Age and older. Once settled, she could be built up to being left for short periods of time. Fig would like her own secure garden so she has a safe space to explore while building confidence with the wider world.

Could you be Fig's perfect match?

Fig is a sweet girl who came into our care having been found as a stray so we have very limited background information on her. She is a real sweetheart and loves a fuss once she knows you. She can find loud noises and fast movements worrying and would prefer a quieter home environment with access to peaceful walks without the need to travel as this is something she is not overly comfortable with at the moment. Fig is such a treasure and will make a loving companion to a family willing to give her the time and love she deserves.
