About This Dog for Adoption

Honey's ideal home

Honey is on the search for her forever home with adopters who can take the time to get to know her and provide her with the home set up she needs. She has shown to be worried by new people at times so will need a family who can take the time to build a bond with her and live a quieter lifestyle with few visitors in the home. Although Honey is looking to be the only dog in the home she could have walking friends out on her walks who can tolerate her sometimes intense greeting style. She will need a private and secure garden that she can enjoy with her family. Honey has shown to guard toys so will need a family who can give her space when she needs it and work on her ‘swap and drop’ in the home. She would be best suited to live with older teenagers who can respect her boundaries. Honey would like her family to be around for most of the day whilst she settles in before being built up slowly. Her adopters will need to continue her muzzle training for the vets, building up a positive association. Honey does have some medical considerations that will be discussed with our vet team upon a booking.

Could you be Honey's perfect match?

Honey is a wiggly girl who loves spending quality time with her favourite people. She likes to hold a soft toy in her both and show it off to her handlers and take it on her walks. She enjoys an adventurous walk before returning for a long snooze in a cosy bed. She is a clever girl who knows her name, sit, down, paw, roll over, and has been working on building a positive association with wearing a muzzle for the vets. She is a great girl who has so much potential in her forever home.
