About This Dog for Adoption

Rhubarb's ideal home

Rhubard is a sweet girl who dreams of a home that has a private garden so she has somewhere to run around and play to her heart's content. Initially, Rhubard would like company most of the time to help her settle in, but once she is familiar with her new home environment she could potentially be left for a couple of hours if this time was built up gradually. Rhubard has experience living with children and is very good around them, however, she does find younger children a little bit too much. Because of this, we feel she would be best suited to living with children aged five or older. Whilst Rhubarb is good with other dogs out and about, she would prefer to be an only dog in the home.

Could you be Rhubarb's perfect match?

Meet Rhubarb, the delightful seven-year-old Cocker Spaniel who absolutely adores people and will always be ready with a toy in her mouth to greet you. She loves engaging in playful games, bringing joy and laughter to anyone she meets! When it’s time for her daily adventures, Rhubarb is all about exploring during walkies, taking in the sights and sounds of the world. After a fun-filled day, she finds her cozy spot on the sofa, curling up and dreaming sweet dreams. You might have noticed that Rhubarb only has one eye, but this doesn’t phase her at all!

Are you looking for a companion who will fill your days with joy and snuggles? Is Rhubarb the perfect match for you?

Cocker Spaniel Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cocker Spaniel Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
