About This Dog

Franklin's ideal home

Franklin is the most handsome spaniel we ever did see, if we say so ourselves! He's a 3 year old Cocker Spaniel with hair to rival David Beckham, and a nose to rival any hound! Franklin is a typical busy body and loves to be on the go - mentally and physically. His favourite activity is scent work and his tail doesn't stop wagging as he searches for his favourite toy! A family that are happy to take Franklin on stimulating walks, or activities like man-trailing would be perfect!

Could you be Franklin's perfect match?

Franklin doesn't enjoy the company of other dogs at the moment, so would be best suited as the only pet in the home. Any children should be sensible and confident around dogs, and around secondary school age. This fun-loving boy is quite cuddly once he gets to know you, and he also loves making a splash in any puddles! Franklin is well-suited to life in Scotland as he's always raring to go, no matter what the weather. Our vets have identified some stiffness in his back legs, but this can be discussed in more detail prior to his adoption. Animal Welfare licence number is AWE02, as licenced by Glasgow City Council.
