About This Dog

Nova's ideal home

Nova is a 4-year-old spaniel who is friendly when meeting new people and, once she gets to know you, is a very affectionate girl who loves being around her people. She is happy to meet other dogs but is an independent lady and would be happiest as the only dog in the home. Nova has a history of guarding items from other dogs, so she would need to be the only pet in the household. She can live with primary school-aged children who are used to energetic dogs. As a typical high-energy spaniel who loves to be busy, Nova will need plenty of physical exercise alongside lots of mental stimulation to keep her busy and content.

Could you be Nova's perfect match?

Nova will need adopters who understand just how energetic and enthusiastic spaniels can be! Her new family should be ready to keep her active, provide her with plenty of enrichment and continue working on her training. Her leaving hours will also need to be built up gradually to help her settle into a new routine. Nova is a sweet girl with plenty of personality, and she absolutely loves her food- an added bonus when it comes to training- and will make a great addition to her new family.
