About This Dog

Yoda's ideal home

Yoda is a gentle but very nervous boy of around two years old who has had a sheltered start in life, mostly only knowing the company of his siblings. He can be extremely worried when meeting new people and tends to avoid interaction, so he will need a calm, experienced, adult-only home with adopters who can give him the time, space, and patience to build trust at his own pace. Yoda will benefit from a secure outdoor space where he can feel safe while he grows in confidence. Although initially withdrawn, he has a medium energy level that will emerge more as he begins to settle and feel comfortable in his surroundings.

Could you be Yoda's perfect match?

Yoda thrives around other dogs and truly comes to life in their presence, so he is looking for a home with a calm, confident resident dog who can help guide him and show him how to navigate the world. He cannot live with cats or small furries, and he will need ongoing support as he learns how to adapt to home life. Yoda currently struggles with being left alone and can become distressed, so any time apart will need to be introduced very gradually. He is best suited to adopters who have experience with nervous dogs and are committed to helping him build confidence through positive, consistent guidance. With patience and understanding, Yoda has the potential to develop into a loyal and rewarding companion.
