Didi's ideal home
Didi can live with other pets and children of high school age. She has come from a hoarding situation and is unlikely to be house trained. She's going to need all her basic training, and patience and kindness. Didi has recently had a number of mammary masses removed and will need to be monitored for new ones post-adoption.

Didi has been a very brave girl indeed. She was rescued from terrible living conditions alongside hundreds of other dogs and has spent a couple of months getting used to her new environment. On top of that, she has recently has rather invasive surgery to remove a number of mammary masses, but she now has the green light for us to find her a loving family. We've watched Didi grow in confidence over the weeks and she's now very excited to see her handlers, although she still likes us to take things slowly with her. When out on walks, Didi can take a minute to settle into her surroundings and is more confident when she has a friend to accompany her. Didi is instantly friendly with people but her adopters will need to be sure that anyone saying hello to her respects her need for space and doesn't try to pet her immediately. She gets excited to see other dogs, unsurprisingly as she's never known a life without them, but is easily worried by larger breeds. Didi isn't at all used to being in a normal home environment so her new family will need to be patient with her, and show her nothing but love and kindness. Her life has been very unconventional but Didi deserves to be spoilt rotten for the rest of it, at the heart of a loving family.
