About This Dog for Adoption

Teddy's ideal home

Meet Teddy, a handsome 7-year-old Cockapoo keen to find his forever home. He's perfect for families with children aged 11yrs and above. Teddy came from a hoarding situation and is still getting used to walks and the outside world, so a garden would be ideal for him as he settles in and continues his house training journey.
Because of his past, Teddy has led a sheltered life with multiple dogs but hasn't been socialised with dogs outside the home. He can be unsure and bark when meeting new dogs, therefore, Teddy needs to be the only pet in his new home or be rehomed with his buddy Teddy who came from the same background.

Could you be Teddy's perfect match?

Teddy requires time to adjust to his new environment. With patience and support, he has the potential to gradually handle being left alone for a couple of hours. Since he's never lived without another dog, a home where someone is around initially would be ideal. Teddy is a fun-loving dog looking for a home that can show him how life should be enjoyed. Could this cute lad be the perfect fit for you?

Dogs Trust Adoption Process

Thinking of adopting through Dogs Trust? Here's what to expect before you start your application.

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
  • Some dogs listed here may already be rehomed or reserved, as updates can take time to sync.
  • If matched, you'll go through their adoption and home-check process before taking your new dog home.
