Lily's ideal home

Beautiful Lily is a 10 year old Crossbreed who has found herself in our care for no fault of her own. She is currently living in a foster home, where she has settled in beautifully. Lily is housetrained and quite happy to be left for a working day providing she has a comfy spot to snooze her day away on. Lily is a friendly girlie, but being an older lady would like a home with children 11+ who can understand when she might want some peace and quiet. She has a beautiful, gentle and soft nature and her carers say she has been a delight to care for. Lily has history of living with other dogs so she could share her new home with one following a meeting here at the centre.

Lily does have some ongoing medical need which her new family will need to be understanding of this. Our team at the centre would be happy to discuss this in more detail with any potential adopters. She truly is a wonderful girl and is just looking for a sofa to snuggle up on.

Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cocker Spaniel Owners website
Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images
