About This Dog for Adoption

Truffle's ideal home

Truffle is a sweet and gentle 6-year-old Cocker Spaniel, who is looking for a home with more than one other dog that’s calm and confident and can show her the way. She is a nervous girl and can become worried by noises so will need adopters that will give her time and patience settling into her new home. As she is underconfident, Truffle is looking for home with no more than 2 human companions. Truffle would like her own secure garden to be able to build up her confidence with her new family.

Could you be Truffle's perfect match?

Truffle would like someone willing to be patient with her and work on building a bond and trust. This could mean a few visits to the centre first followed by a trial in her new home before adopting. This is so she can get use to her new home and adopters and Truffle will have the support of our behaviour and training team. A quiet home life and location would be best for Truffle, as well as a safe spaces inside the home she can call her own. When she comes out of her shell she builds up very sweet bonds where she will have gentle fusses and will even curl up for a cuddle if she feels brave enough. Truffle will have some medical costs going forwards.
Do you have time, love, patience, a dog/s already settled into your home that would be able to help this lovely girl?
