About This Dog for Adoption

Vinny's ideal home

Vinny and his 7 brothers and sisters are 2 month old Cocker Spaniel Crossbreeds ready to find their forever homes. They are the sweetest bunch, and they love nothing more than to play and cuddle with people. They are able to live with children and other pets as long as interactions are managed in the home. Any children should understand that puppies like to nibble and jump when they are feeling playful, and any dogs currently in the home will need to come to the Centre for a meet before adoption. These puppies will have plenty of energy and are already showing off just how clever they are! Therefore, their ideal adopter will have an active lifestyle and be keen to get stuck in to lots of fun training and enrichment.

Could you be Vinny's perfect match?

Vinny and his siblings are confident, playful, and affectionate little puppies who can't wait to start their big adventures! As they are still young, their adopters will need to be ready for all areas of puppy training, and it would be great if someone was able to be at home with them at the beginning to help them get settled in to their new environment. If you are interested in adopting Vinny or one of his adorable siblings, please complete an adoption application and include Vinny as a 'Favourite' dog. Thank you!

Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cocker Spaniel Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
