About This Dog for Adoption

Cooper's ideal home

Belle and Cooper are an adorable mother and son duo looking to find their forever retirement home together, they would prefer a quieter life and could live with secondary school aged children. Cooper is 10 years old and despite his age he still has a zest for life. Cooper in particular loves being close to you and knowing where you are, he is very affectionate and will take any opportunity he can for a cuddle with you on the sofa. They are both looking for a home with someone who would be about the house all day, they are not used to being left alone and can become quite anxious if you are not there. They can share their home with cats and other more calm and chilled dogs pending successful meets. When going on walks Cooper and Belle have been used to quieter areas and Cooper especially is always very excited to get out for walks and will happily travel in the car to go to different places for adventures, he does sometimes whine for a short time at the start of a walk or car journey and does bark if there is a lot happening when out on a walk.

Could you be Cooper's perfect match?

If you are at home all of the time and are looking for two companions to have around the house then Cooper and Belle could be the perfect match, they are housetrained and have had their basic training, he knows "sit", "go to bed" and is currently learning "paw" in his foster home. Cooper loves getting up on the chair by the window in his foster carers home to watch the world go by. He is not particularly interested in playing with toys but likes to have one to carry around with him. If you are interested in offering Cooper and Belle their forever home together you can fill in an application form and add them to your favourites.
