About This Dog for Adoption

Gary's ideal home

Meet gorgeous Gary! He is a very sweet boy but isn't enjoying all the hustle and bustle of kennel life, so we believe he would benefit from a quieter, adult only home or a home with older teenagers. Gary came into care with his best friend Cleo and, while it would be fantastic to rehome this pair together, we do believe Gary would be equally happy to live on his own or with another dog pending successful meets at the centre. Being a typical Spaniel, Gary loves getting out for daily sniffy walks so his new family will need to enjoy the active lifestyle as much as he does. He is also a big fan of playtime with his favourite toys so would love an enclosed garden space where he can play his favourite games and burn some of that Spaniel energy! Gary can be left for short spaces of time, but this could be built up once settled in his home.

Could you be Gary's perfect match?

Gary is a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel who came into Dogs Trust through no fault of his own and is on the lookout for his forever home! He can be a tad shy to begin with, but doesn't take long to warm up to new people so would benefit from a couple meets at the centre before going home with any potential adopters. Gary enjoys adventures in the car to exciting new walking locations and is very good with the vets and grooming. If you think this handsome boy could be the dog for you, follow the steps below to submit an application and don't forget to "favourite" Gary!
