About This Dog for Adoption

Cammy's ideal home

Cammy is a sweet dog who is dreaming of a home with a lovely private garden where she can safely run around and play to her heart's content. Cammy has experience living with children, but she tends to get a bit playful and mouthy when she’s excited. Given this and her slightly anxious nature in the kennel, we think she’d thrive best in a home with kids aged 8 and up. Cammy is open to living with another dog. She has the potential to be left alone for up to four hours, but only if this time is gradually built up and once she’s settled into her new home.

Could you be Cammy's perfect match?

Cammy is a three-year-old Terrier Cross who was handed over to us when her owner's circumstances changed. She is a sweet girl sweet girl who loves a sniffy walk and playing with her best friends here at the centre. Cammy enjoys playing with her toys and zooming around our enclosed compounds! When out of her kennel she is a happy bundle of energy and is waiting to find her new person or people to explore the world with!

Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cocker Spaniel Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
