Eddie's ideal home
Eddie is looking for a home that has minimal leaving hours as he loves the company of people and is not used to being left on his own. He will need any time left on his own built up carefully and gradually once he has settled in. He is not a fan of travelling in the car and therefore needs a home that does need to travel with him regularly. Eddie cannot live with small furry animals as we have seen that he has a high chase drive from his love of chasing birds! He can be worried by loud noises, handling and children so we are looking to rehome him to an adult-only home. Eddie is currently working on dog skills and has started to make some doggy friends here at the centre, but would still appreciate being the only dog in his new home. We know from his previous home and time in foster care that he does not toilet in the garden, so his adopter must be willing to take him on multiple, regular walks. He would still like a home that has access to a garden so he has an outdoor space to play, but this could be private or communal.
Eddie has some medical needs, which could lead to additional costs. We will discuss this further if your application is shortlisted.

Eddie is a sweet one-year-old Dachshund cross Cocker Spaniel who came into our care after his owner's circumstances changed. He is looking for understanding adopters who are willing to work on his training and confidence when out and about. He enjoys playing with his toys and adores the company of his favourite people so is looking for a home with little leaving hours that can be built up from scratch.
