About This Dog for Adoption

Pippa's ideal home

Pippa has arrived with us after spending all her life in a home and so is finding kennels little overwhelming, however she's slowly settling in and we've seen the wonderful and cheeky girlie she is! Pippa is a real live wire who is at her happiest zooming around the runs and playing with her doggy friends! She loves people and has been super friendly, but can get a little overwhelmed if there is a lot going on so would be best suited to children 12+ who can understand her worried side. Pippa has been housetrained previously however may need a little refresher in her forever home. She was also used to being left for short periods, however this was with another dog so we recommend this is built up again once she's settled into her forever home. Pippa could share her new home with another dog following a meeting here at the centre, she can be very vocal when making friends, so they will need to be tolerant of Pippa and her chatty nature!

Could you be Pippa's perfect match?

Pippa is a truly wonderful little lady who we know will bring lots of love and smiles to her forever family. If you're on the search for a fun, loving and active little dog, then Pippa could be your paw-fect match! Pippa has been around horses/livestock in her previous home, so she could do again following careful introductions.

Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cocker Spaniel Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
