Roseorwell Pups is a small establishment focused on producing genetically and physically healthy Fox Red Labrador and Working Cocker Spaniel puppies. Est. 2013.
We hold a five star license with Babergh District Council.
We have four breeding females, one labrador, one red cocker, one golden cocker and one lemon and white cocker. We also have a retired labrador who is the matriarch of the pack. The girls have their litters at least eighteen months apart to ensure they have sufficient time inbetween litters to fully regain their health. They are all vaccinated, wormed, flea and tick treated appropriately and fully insured. They all live as part of our family as pets. They mooch about the house and garden and although they are trained they are not trained to the gun and the cockers are not docked. Puppies will not be docked but the will be Kennel Club registered.
All studs are selected according to satisfactory genetic and physical health testing and temperament.
All adults are BVA/KC eye screened annually, including Gonioscopy for the cockers. All are hip scored. The Labradors are also elbow scored.
Puppies are whelped and raised in our house, they spend the first four weeks in our bedroom and the following four weeks in a run in the conservatory.
I’m also a qualified micro-chipper and I use Microchip Central chips when I chip the puppies. They come with a tag and track package. A fee is payable to transfer the microchip to new owners and a fee is required to transfer the kennel registration.
I’m also a qualified groom although I don’t practice anymore.
I have also completed a canine first course.
