About These Puppies

Murdo (Murd) is looking for a new home. We bought him as a puppy at 10 weeks old to add to our working gun dog pack however murd is almost a year old and is not showing any signs of being interested in working or picking Game therefore he is looking for a pet home.
He’s a lovely wee dog very biddable, very quiet, Doesn’t really bark he’s very much used to other dogs And enjoys other dogs company he was inside until he was Six months old and he has been kenneled outside since. He is currently on Skinner’s But also enjoys a raw diet also he’s not fussy. He eats anything. Sad sale, but unfortunately it’s not fair on him being stuck at home while the others are out working. He’s micro chipped, wormed and ticked For the next six months, His mum was a Springer and his dad was a cocker. He’s definitely a cocker size. He’s quite small. He’s not used to Cats or children, but with his very soft nature, I doubt this would be a problem. Unfortunately, it’s not allowing me to add the video or any more photos. The only photo I was able to add is the one when he was a puppy if interested, I’ll happily WhatsApp you video and more pictures please no time wasters serious enquiries only thanks. He would definitely suit a home on his own or a home with other dogs.

Cocker Spaniel Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy without you viewing it first
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cocker Spaniel Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website
  • Seller asks you to send money to a bank account with a different name to the person you have been communicating with
  • The dog/puppy is advertised significantly cheaper than similar listings
