About This Dog

Matilda's ideal home

Say hello to gorgeous Matilda! Matilda is a very sweet 12-week-old Cocker crossbreed. She came to Dogs Trust through no fault of her own and is now ready to find her forever home! We feel Matilda will be better suited to an experienced home where everyone is aged 12+ and confident around bouncy, nippy puppies. She is currently living with another dog and could share her forever home with other pets, as long as interactions will be managed during her settling in period. Matilda would be equally as happy as the only pet in her new home so she can keep all the attention to herself!

Could you be Matilda's perfect match?

Matilda is a spritely, clever little lady who has been working hard on learning new things in her foster home! She has almost mastered her housetraining and is currently working on her crate training and settle work. She can be left alone for short periods, but this should be built gradually as she settles in her new home. As she is still young, Matilda's adopters will need to be happy continuing her basic puppy training. True to her breed, she is quite the busy body and is always bopping about doing something so we do think breed experience would be helpful when rehoming Matilda, but this is not essential. Matilda will grow to be an active girl so will thrive with a family who will take her out for daily adventures! She travels well in the car and will benefit from fun enrichment games to keep her brain busy! If you feel Matilda could be the dog for you, please submit an application and don't forget to "favourite" her!

Champ's ideal home Champ will benefit from adopters who feel comfortable supporting a dog who can become over‑the‑top around other dogs. His playful excitement can build quickly, so he’ll be staying on a lead when out and about, and we would advise muzzling him around other dogs to help keep interactions calm and safe. He is looking for a private, secure garden that will

Bow's ideal home Bow is a sweet 1 year old Staffie X Cocker Spaniel who is a little underconfident but has bags of potential. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home as he can be fearful, but has bravely met other calm dogs on walks, where he has shared a few polite sniffs!
