About This Dog

Mia's ideal home

Mia is an extremely sweet, but timid little girl. She can be a little worried meeting new people and can take a while to approach. But when she knows you, she is the cuddliest, most affectionate girl. Mia can live with children age 14+, this is because of her sensitive nature, and she would really love a quiet home, she wouldn’t cope in a super loud, busy environment as she can be noise sensitive. Mia needs to live with another dog in the home, as other dogs really do give her confidence, and she is way happier when she is around them in the home environment and when out and about. She would suit going to a home with a slightly older dog, that isn’t going to be too full on and bouncy on the initial meeting as this will scare her, so a quiet calm dog is what she is looking for. Mia doesn’t enjoy being left on her own, so her new home would need to have limited leaving hours, and any leaving hours would need to be built up gradually and only once she is settled. She would ideally like a home where she can spend most of her time curled up on the sofa with her favourite people, and getting all the cuddles. She is the perfect little lap dog. She is also fully toilet trained and travels really well in car.

Could you be Mia's perfect match?

The outside world is still quite scary to her; she is gradually getting used to going on her walks and doing really well! Mia is starting to enjoy her little wanders, especially when she is walking with her foster sister Honey. She is looking for a home that are happy with shorter quieter walks, just because she can still get overwhelmed in noisy busy environments. When Mia came in, she was scared of everything, but she has come on in leaps and bounds and has the best personality! She will need patient and understanding owners who are going to let her come round at her own pace, but once she is settled she is going to make her new family very happy, as she really is the best girl.
