About This Dog

This is Bobby he is 2 years and nearly 4 months old. He has been neutered, he is micro chipped, he lives with cats and children ages 12 & 6. He is extremely lively and needs a lot of exercise, at the moment I walk him before work and after for an hour each time and I feel like he would still go for more. He does pull on lead and doesn't have great re call unless you've thrown him a tennis ball 🙈 Will come with his bed, his cage (only caged when we're not home) I do work from home so it's not often. Full bag of dog food and all of his injection paperwork. Unfortunately we have come to the discussion to look for a new home for him due to his behaviour and having kids in our home. He has BITE my husband when my child left a bit of chocolate on the floor and drew blood so now I have lost trust in him around my children and I'm unable to keep them separate for the rest of his life, so we are looking to home him in a home with no kids. I would like to allow for his new owner to meet Bobby a few times to get to know him before taking him on permanent. Please feel free to message for any further information.

Cocker Spaniel Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy without you viewing it first
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cocker Spaniel Owners website
Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website
Seller asks you to send money to a bank account with a different name to the person you have been communicating with
The dog/puppy is advertised significantly cheaper than similar listings
