About This Dog for Adoption
Rupert's ideal home
Rupert, a handsome one-year-old Cocker-Poo, is bursting with energy and enthusiasm for life. As a young, active boy, he’s looking for a home that can channel his energy into a happy, fulfilling routine. A house with a garden would be ideal so he has space to enjoy a good run around and he would thrive with adopters who lead an active lifestyle. Rupert would need a home where his people are around for most of the day, as Rupert finds being left alone difficult and is best suited to minimal periods of separation. He’s happy to live in a city as walking along busy roads doesn’t faze him. Rupert would benefit from ongoing training, particularly learning to wear a harness and polishing his lead manners, and he’s happy to travel on long car journeys. He could live with younger children and would be perfectly content in a sociable home with regular visitors, as people are truly his favourite thing.
Could you be Rupert's perfect match?
Rupert is a fun-loving, sweet-natured dog who wants nothing more than to be part of whatever his humans are doing. He’s house trained, knows a few basic commands, but is eager to learn more, especially if it means spending quality time with his people. Rupert adores affection and will happily seek out cuddles and tactile reassurance, making him a wonderfully loving companion. He delights in playtime, often proudly carrying toys around in his mouth, and he enjoys socialising and playing with other dogs too. Friendly, confident, and full of charm, Rupert greets new people with enthusiasm and warmth. An adopter can expect a loyal, joyful friend who will fill their days with laughter, energy and endless affection.
