About This Dog for Adoption

Oliver's ideal home

Oliver is an approx 3 month old Cocker Spaniel cross Staffy pup, looking for a special new home to call his own. He could live with other dogs or be the only dog in his new home and would like humans who are around initially to help settle him in and then not to be left home alone for too long afterwards. Oliver's new family will need to understand that he has a birth defect on his face, causing his left eye to be inactive. This does not bother Oliver at all, but does require daily eye lubricant for life, as the eye doesn't blink or produce tear ducts to the extend a normal eye would. His eyesight is also limited in this eye too. Despite this, Oliver is the most happiest, loving little pup!

Could you be Oliver's perfect match?

Oliver is a very well socalised, lovable puppy who is thriving in a foster home. He is extremley foody and enjoys having his meals in some enrichment so he doesn't gobble it all down in one! He adores his toys and will happily entertain himself with his favourite ones, over Christmas, his fosterers discovered that cardboard boxes are the ultimate toy and this keeps him entertained even longer! Oliver loves to play with other dogs and enjoys zoomies in the garden. He travels very well in the car and just has a nap and is getting there with his house training. Oliver sleeps on the bedroom floor of his fosterer carers bedroom in a dog bed (although he prefers to make a den with any clothes left laying around!) and sleeps peacefully through the night. He really is an angel of a pup and we are hoping the perfect home will snap him up and not be put off by his conidtion and needs.
