About This Dog for Adoption

Aries's ideal home

Meet Aries, our beautiful 2 year old Spaniel X Staffie. Aries is a sweet boy who loves going on long sniffy walks and playing with his doggie friends in the park. Although he can be a little worried at first, Aries loves people and will soon become your best friend, especially if you have a nice tasty chew for him! Aries can sometimes be a bit excitable when playing, but with a bit of consistence and reassurance, he is the sweetest little boy and a loving companion.

Could you be Aries's perfect match?

Aries hasn't had the best luck this year and is looking for a loving family who are able to provide him with the forever home he so deserves. He would prefer to be the only pet in the house as he can sometimes get overexcited by other dogs and is still learning how to play politely. Aries is not yet used to being left alone, so is looking for a family who can build up his leaving hours slowly in the first few months. Children should ideally be 11+ and understand that Aries is still learning how to be his best self and is just looking to make new friends. We are so excited for Aries to find his new home as we think he deserves nothing more than some home comforts and a family to call his own.

Dogs Trust Adoption Process

Thinking of adopting through Dogs Trust? Here's what to expect before you start your application.

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
  • Some dogs listed here may already be rehomed or reserved, as updates can take time to sync.
  • If matched, you'll go through their adoption and home-check process before taking your new dog home.
