Suki's ideal home

Suki is a tender-hearted girl who is on the search for a quiet home. She won't want to live with young children but could live with those of secondary school age. She'll need sensible kids who are able to keep fuss to very short bursts and give her space. Suki would like to be the only dog in the home for now. She has lived with other dogs before but is very worried here and needs more socials before she's ready to make new doggy friends. Suki has lived with cats before and could do so again, as long as her new family are able to introduce them slowly, potentially keeping them separate at first. Due to her worried nature, Suki will need a secure garden of her own. Suki has some skin issues and is currently on medication for this.

Could you be Suki's perfect match?

Suki is a sweet, shy, 1yr old Cocker Spaniel who is very worried by life and will need a lot of time and patience. She will need a safe space to retreat to especially whilst adjusting to life in a home again. Suki doesn’t like being left home alone very much and would love a family who are around all the time to begin with. Leaving time can then be built up gradually. Fortunately she travels well in the car, though does need to be lifted in. She’s got a good history of being housetrained too, so with access to her own secure garden should pick it back up again very quickly. When out and about Suki will be glued to your side and needs lots of reassurance. She is getting braver though, and we are sure that plenty of sofa snuggles will be in her future.
