Rua's ideal home
This fantastic girl is Rua. She is a 2-year-old Cocker Spaniel who arrived to us with little known history. Due to this, Rua is looking for a home where everyone is over the age of 14, and she could potentially live with another dog after a successful meet here at the Rehoming Centre. Rua is super friendly and loves to say hello to everyone she meets! Her ideal adopter would be someone that likes to be active and get out for long walks. She is a busy bee and loves to use her nose to explore everything around her. She is a typical energetic Spaniel, so an adopter with some experience of Spaniel breeds would be beneficial. Rua has no known history of living in a home environment, so her adopters will need to be understanding that it may take a little while for her to get used to her new surroundings. To help with this, she will need someone at home with her during the day to begin with, but once leaving time can be built up, she should settle on her own in the house, as she is great at settling in her kennel here at the Centre.

Rua has a happy, playful nature and just loves to be involved! Her favourite things to do are play with toys and engage in enrichment activities. She would benefit from some basic training, but as she is a big foodie this will be a great motivator! We have no doubt that Rua will make a cracking little companion, and we can’t wait for her to start her biggest adventure yet.
