Description

Chewie's ideal home

1 year and 5 month old Chewie is ready to find his forever home, he is a young dog and is looking for a family that are around most of the time. He finds being left alone very stressful and will need any leaving hours built up slowly. Chewie is a playful little boy and would suit an active family that can take him on nice walks and provide mental stimulation throughout the day. He is good with other dogs and could potentially live another confident dog depending on a successful dog mix here at the center and can live with children 11+, Chewie will also need a secure garden to explore. Chewie is currently underweight so at present he is a bit frantic around food.

Could you be Chewie's perfect match?

Chewie has come to us through no fault of his own and has quickly stolen a few hearts here at the center, he can be worried and a little shy when he first meets new people but once he knows you he wants non stop cuddles. Chewie will need to be introduced to new environments slowly as he has not seen much of the world and although curious he is a little fearful so needs his confidence building with lots of positive experiences. Chewie is an adorable little boy who loves so play and has a soft spot for his favourite toys carrying them around with him. He is an affectionate little boy who loves to have a fuss and snuggle on a comfy lap. Chewie will make a fantastic addition to the family apply today to see if you are a match.

Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
