Remi

4 months

Remi's ideal home

Remi is a gorgeous, 10-month-old Cocker Spaniel who has been described as having a ‘delightful, affectionate, and fun-loving character’! She is seeking adopters who are just as active as she is, and who have plenty of time to dedicate to her, keeping her busy with lots of exciting activities and working with her on some basic training. Her family must also be confident in managing her strength, as she can be strong on her lead when she catches scent of something enticing! Being a lively-natured pooch with a need for stimulation, Remi would best be suited to a home with older primary-school aged children. She builds strong attachments to people and, as a result, is still developing confidence in spending time alone. A multi-carer household is essential, so that there’s always someone around nearby for a cuddle! Remi has never lived with a dog before but has been known to socialise well when greeting them on her walks. We are happy to trial Remi living with another dog, pending successful playdates at our rehoming centre. However, she is unsuitable to live with any other types of animals. A garden of her own at home would be beneficial, so that Remi could enjoy a good, off-lead bound around to burn off some steam.

Could you be Remi's perfect match?

Remi is a pooch who thrives on companionship, as well as enjoying daily walks and activities, making her a fantastic adventure companion. She’s particularly fond of the beach but isn’t fussy when it comes to exploring and will appreciate being taken on a variety of fun walks! Highly responsive and eager to learn, Remi finds training an enjoyable and rewarding experience, strengthening her bond with her carers. She’s very playful and highly toy-driven, loving to engage her natural instincts through retrieving, fetching, and carrying her toys. Her favourites include soft toys and a light-up ball. When it comes to having down-time, she is extremely affectionate and goofy, so enjoys curling up on the sofa with her carers or gnawing on a chew.

Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
