About This Dog for Adoption

Willow's ideal home

Willow can live with children aged eight and over but needs to be the only pet at home. She is house trained but doesn't like spending time by herself. Willow will need regular trips to the groomers so potential adopters should consider this extra expense. She also suffers from recurring yeast infections in her ears.

Could you be Willow's perfect match?

Willow is an adorable seven year old Cocker who isn't too thrilled about finding herself at the centre! She is very attached to people and likes to be with them so she struggles with spending time on her own, something that started after her family welcomed a new baby. Willow gets very excited to see us and can be quite vocal when she first comes out for walks, though she settles and likes to explore. She does seek reassurance from people at times when she's out and is unsure of her surroundings. Anybody she meets is an instant friend and she certainly has no qualms about approaching people! She is the same when she meets other dogs, very happy to have an introductory sniff but then goes about her business. Willow has previously shared her home with another dogs but she would guard toys and spaces from him, so we won't put her in that situation again as we will be rehoming her to be the only dog at home.
