Meet Bella, a sweet and friendly Cocker Spaniel.
At just 5 years old, Bella is full of energy, love, and personality. Whether you’re looking for a fun companion for outdoor adventures or a snuggle buddy for cozy evenings, Bella is a great dog and will walk the lengths of anywhere with you but when it comes to cuddles and being a sticking plaster that’s were she really thrives.
Bella is fully house trained, and crate trained but tends to have accidents when she is anxious. She is better suited to being an ONLY dog as she a massive attention seeker haha, she loves her heat, you’ll find her cuddled up under your blanket, in-front of the fire, or squeezed in among the pillows on the sofa. Bella does not like being alone, she is more suited to a home where she’s able to cuddle up and follow you from room to room. You will find Bella does not take no for an answer when it comes her wanting a cuddle, she will snuggle in any corner she can get in, she will use her nose to lift your hand and even set her paw on top of you to get some cuddle time.
Bella has been neutered and always kept up to date with all her vaccines, she is microchipped and up to date with all her worming tablets.
Her favourite word is “walkies” or the occasional “treat” where you start to see her tail go faster than ever.
One thing Bella really dislikes is Letterboxes, if someone raps the letter box, Bella truly believes that the letter box is her enemy and will try to wrestle the metal flap. BUT if Bella uses her nose to rap the letter box all is ok, she won’t try to wrestle the metal flap. She is simply letting you know she needs the toilet.
Bella’s favourite thing to do is sniff. The durations of walks always differ because she always finds somewhere knew she needs to investigate.
She would be a fantastic addition to anyone’s home but also considering her above needs, this has not been an easy decision for our family, we are keeping her for our own selfish reasons even though we cannot meet her daily needs of not wanting to be alone and her anxiety suffers because of us.
My job as childminder and whilst I know that Bella is completely fine around children as she has been with all my own, as it’s my responsibility I would never have a dog in with someone else’s children. So because of that Bella is confined to the back of the house (Kitchen/Dining Room) most days while I work she hates being alone and my children don’t get home to 4/5 from work and school before she is given some attention.
I just want Bella to enjoy a home where somebody is able to enjoy every second of her beautiful loving nature.
