Patrick's ideal home

Are you looking for an incredibly rewarding training project and have the time and patience to help us turn a nervous little dog's life around? Patrick is a Belgian Malinois / Spaniel Crossbreed and at only 5-months-old he's led a very sheltered life so far. This has left him very nervous about literally everything! Our team have been working with him and we've slowly seen his confidence grow and he's now ready to find his forever home. Due to his training needs he must live in a calm, peaceful and predictable adult only home. There is potential for him to share with a very calm and well socialised dog who could be a good role model for him. His home must be in a smaller village/peaceful setting within a 1hr drive of the Leeds rehoming centre and with a secure garden to continue his gradual confidence building with the outside world.

Patrick has shown that he's a very resilient young lad and the training we've been doing with him has really helped him feel more confident but he still has a way to go. We're looking for VERY special adopters who will commit to visiting him many times at the rehoming centre to build a solid relationship and so we can pass on all the great training techniques we've used with him. We can see a fun and playful dog start to emerge and we know that if his family continue his training the way we have then in time he'll really flourish.
